Now I will confess – I love my food! But that said, nutrition plays a massive part in preparing, during and following an endurance event. I’m not saying my diet is perfect, but it seems to work well for me, although some recipes are certainly a little indulgent and purely for enjoyment, not training 😉
When running I struggle with gels as they tend to make me feel like throwing up. As an alternative, I’ve found some other options, some home made, some commercial, that I’ll post about over the coming weeks. Also, as I discover new recipes I’ll post them up for you to try or modify to suit.
